Chewing gum: an unexpected cause of migraine

Migraine can be caused by numerous factors. While some of them are obvious, like sleep deprivation, hunger, stress, or hormonal changes, some are quite unexpected.

Believe it or not, experts have proven that chewing a chewing gum can cause serious headache. Namely, frequent chewing can cause tension in the temporomandibular joint which connects the skull to the jaw.
